Amend sec. 2, page 1, line 6, after "
eye." by inserting:"
The term includes, without limitation, a laser scope intended for use with a firearm.".Amend sec. 3, page 1, by deleting lines 7 through 15 and inserting:
"Sec. 3.
1. A person shall not knowingly direct light emitted from a laser pointer into or through a public place or at another person in a manner that would cause a reasonable person apprehension or fear of bodily harm, unless the person does so for a valid and lawful purpose.2. A person who violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor.".
Amend sec. 4, page 2, line 1, after "
not" by inserting "knowingly".Amend sec. 4, page 2, by deleting line 5 and inserting "
gross misdemeanor.".
