AN ACT making an appropriation to the Department of Transportation for the construction of sound barriers on McCarran Boulevard between Pyramid Way and Baring Boulevard; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

1-1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to

1-2 the Department of Transportation the sum of $590,000 for the construction

1-3 of sound barriers on both sides of McCarran Boulevard between Pyramid

1-4 Way and Baring Boulevard, a distance of approximately 9,600 feet.

1-5 Sec. 2. Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by section 1

1-6 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after the project is

1-7 completed and reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of

1-8 money committed have been made.

1-9 Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
