THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to1-2
the Department of Transportation the sum of $300,000 for use with federal1-3
money received pursuant to 49 U.S.C. §§ 5310 and 5311, for operating1-4
costs and the purchase of paratransit vehicles for transportation programs1-5
for elderly persons and persons with disabilities.1-6
Sec. 2. Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by section 11-7
of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30, 2001, and1-8
reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of money1-9
committed have been made.1-10
Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.~
