THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Chapter 321 of NRS is hereby amended by adding thereto a1-2
new section to read as follows:1-3
1. The revolving account for land management is hereby created as a1-4
special account in the state general fund.1-5
2. The state land registrar shall use the money in the account to pay1-6
the expenses related to the management of land held by the division,1-7
including, without limitation, expenses for:1-8
(a) Appraisals and surveys;1-9
(b) Construction of fences and barriers for vehicles; and1-10
(c) The cleanup and maintenance of the land.1-11
3. The state land registrar shall:1-12
(a) Approve any disbursement from the revolving account; and1-13
(b) Maintain records of any such disbursement.1-14
4. The state land registrar shall deposit into the revolving account1-15
money received by the division as a donation or as a reimbursement for1-16
or advance payment of an expense paid out of the revolving account.1-17
5. The balance of the revolving account must be carried forward at1-18
the end of each fiscal year.2-1
6. If the balance in the account is below $5,000, the state land2-2
registrar may request an allocation from the contingency fund pursuant2-3
to NRS 353.266, 353.268 and 353.269.2-4
Sec. 2. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to the2-5
revolving account for land management created pursuant to section 1 of this2-6
act the sum of $20,000.~
