AN ACT making a supplemental appropriation to the Department of Taxation for an estimated shortfall in the amount budgeted for payment of services provided by the Department of Information Technology; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

1-1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to

1-2 the Department of Taxation the sum of $165,000 for an estimated shortfall

1-3 in the amount budgeted for payment for services provided to the

1-4 Department of Taxation by the Department of Information Technology.

1-5 This appropriation is supplemental to section 9 of chapter 244, Statutes of

1-6 Nevada 1997, at page 854.

1-7 Sec. 2. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
