SENATE JOINT RESOLUTIONProposing to amend the Constitution of the State of

Nevada to authorize the Legislature to convene temporarily at places other than the seat of

government.

Resolved by the Senate and Assembly of the State of Nevada,

Jointly, That section 1 of article 4 of the Constitution of the State of

Nevada be amended to read as follows:

1-1 Section [.] 1. The Legislative authority of this State shall be vested in

1-2 a Senate and Assembly which shall be designated "The Legislature of the

1-3 State of [Nevada" and the] Nevada." The sessions of such Legislature shall

1-4 be held at the seat of government of the State [.] of Nevada, except that the

1-5 Legislature may convene for not more than 20 days during any session at

1-6 such other places in this state as the Legislature may designate.
