SENATE RESOLUTIONExpressing appreciation to the staff of the Senate for their

dedication and outstanding performance during the 70th session of the Nevada Legislature.

1-1 Whereas, The Nevada Legislature undertakes an enormous task every

1-2 2 years and must depend on its staff to assist the members in the

1-3 performance of their legislative duties on behalf of the residents of the State

1-4 of Nevada; and

1-5 Whereas, The smooth and efficient operation of the Nevada

1-6 Legislature is largely dependent on the quality and dedication of its staff;

1-7 and

1-8 Whereas, This legislative session is the first session limited to 120

1-9 days, and this body recognizes the many extra demands that have been

1-10 placed on the staff by requiring them to learn and assimilate new standing

1-11 rules and additional deadlines; and

1-12 Whereas, The front desk, executive assistants, sergeant at arms,

1-13 committee managers, committee secretaries, personal secretaries, bill clerks

1-14 and other administrative support staff who serve as attachés of the Senate

1-15 have worked diligently and efficiently in their service to the members of the

1-16 Senate; now, therefore, be it

1-17 Resolved by the Senate of the State of Nevada, That the

1-18 members of the Senate of the 70th session of the Nevada Legislature do

1-19 hereby express their appreciation and commend the outstanding support

1-20 staff of the Senate which includes Mary Jo Mongelli, Ann-Berit Moyle,

1-21 Mary R. Phillips, Mary Ellen Patt, Claire Clift, Jane Gill, Ruth B. Pierini,
