The Committee on Elections, Procedures, and Ethics was called to order at 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, June 3, 2001. Chairwoman Chris Giunchigliani presided in Room Chambers of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. Exhibit A is the Agenda. Exhibit B is the Guest List. All exhibits are available and on file at the Research Library of the Legislative Counsel Bureau.

With a quorum present, the committee took action on A.C.R. 3.
ASSEMBLYMAN BACHE MOVED TO AMEND AND DO ADOPT A.C.R. 3.
ASSEMBLYMAN ANDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION.
THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY BY THOSE PRESENT. NOT PRESENT FOR THE VOTE WERE ASSEMBLYMAN PRICE, ASSEMBLYMAN BROWER, ASSEMBLYWOMAN FREEMAN AND SPEAKER PERKINS.
Assembly Concurrent Resolution 21: Directs Legislative Commission to conduct interim study of issues regarding death penalty and related DNA testing. (BDR R-1265)
With a quorum present, action was taken on A.C.R. 21.
ASSEMBLYMAN BACHE MOVED TO AMEND AND DO ADOPT A.C.R. 21.
ASSEMBLYMAN ANDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION.
THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY BY THOSE PRESENT. NOT PRESENT FOR THE VOTE WERE ASSEMBLYMAN PRICE, ASSEMBLYMAN BROWER, ASSEMBLYWOMAN FREEMAN AND SPEAKER PERKINS.
Senate Joint Resolution 7: Urges United States Department of State to approve establishment of Mexican Consulate in Las Vegas. (BDR R-1148)
With a quorum present, committee action was taken on S.J.R. 7.
ASSEMBLYMAN BACHE MOVED TO DO PASS S.J.R. 7.
ASSEMBLYMAN HETTRICK SECONDED THE MOTION.
THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY BY THOSE PRESENT. NOT PRESENT FOR THE VOTE WERE ASSEMBLYMAN PRICE, ASSEMBLYMAN BROWER, ASSEMBLYWOMAN FREEMAN AND SPEAKER PERKINS.
