The Committee on Taxationwas called to order at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2001.  Chairman David Goldwater presided at the Bar of the Assembly of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada.

Senate Joint Resolution 20 of the 70th Session:  Proposed to amend Nevada Constitution to provide requirements for enactment of property and sales tax exemptions (BDR C-709)

 

Chairman Goldwater requested an amendment to S.J.R. 20 of the 70^th Session of the Nevada Legislature.

 

MR. PRICE MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE AMENDED BY CHANGING THE WORD “AND” TO “OR” ON LINES 2-2 ON PAGE 2 AND THE BILL BE DO PASSED AS AMENDED.

 

MR. MARVEL SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY BY ALL PRESENT.
