The Senate Committee on Financewas called to order by Chairman William J. Raggio at 3:18 p.m., on Saturday, May 26, 2001, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada.

BILL DRAFT REQUEST 17-1007:  Revises provisions governing             compensation of certain legislative employees.  (Later introduced as             Senate Bill 579.

 

Chairman Raggio explained Bill Draft Request (BDR) 17-1007, which along with a handout entitled “Salary Structure for Session Attaches” (Exhibit A), clarified a measure to change the current Senate attaché salary structure. 

 

            SENATOR MATHEWS MOVED TO INTRODUCE BILL DRAFT REQUEST 17‑1007.

 

            SENATOR RAWSON SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

            THE MOTION CARRIED.
