The Senate Committee on Human Resources and Facilitieswas called to order by Chairman Raymond D. Rawson, at 2:30 p.m., on Tuesday, May 29, 2001 on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman Rawson informed the committee of the Assembly Amendment No. 1110 to Senate Bill (S.B.) 539.
SENATE BILL 539: Makes various changes concerning fund for a healthy Nevada and program to provide prescription drugs and pharmaceutical services to senior citizens with low incomes under certain circumstances. (BDR 40-536)
Chairman Rawson called for a motion to concur or not concur.
SENATOR TOWNSEND MOVED TO CONCUR WITH AMENDMENT NO. 1110 TO S.B. 539.
SENATOR SCHNEIDER SECONDED THE MOTION.
THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

Chairman Rawson informed the committee of the Assembly Amendment No. 880 to Senate Bill (S.B.) 399.
SENATE BILL 399: Revises provisions governing charter schools and authorizes programs of distance education. (BDR 34-859)
Chairman Rawson called for a motion to concur or not concur.
SENATOR TOWNSEND MOVED TO NOT CONCUR WITH AMENDMENT NO. 880 TO S.B. 399.
SENATOR WIENER SECONDED THE MOTION.
THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

SENATOR TOWNSEND MOVED TO INTRODUCE BDR R-1570.

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
