The Senate Committee on Human Resources and Facilitieswas called to order by Chairman Raymond D. Rawson, at 8:34 p.m., on Monday, June 4, 2001, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada.  There was no Agenda.  There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman Rawson informed the committee of the proposed amendment to Assembly Bill (A.B.) 52 (Exhibit A).

 

ASSEMBLY BILL 52:  Limits fees which providers of health services that accept insurance payments may collect from patients. (BDR 40-655)

 

Chairman Rawson called for a motion.

 

            SENATOR WASHINGTON MOVED TO AMEND AND DO PASS A.B. 52.

 

            SENATOR WIENER SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

            THE MOTION CARRIED.  (SENATOR SCHNEIDER WAS ABSENT FOR THE             VOTE.)
