The Senate Committee on Human Resources and Facilitieswas called to order by Chairman Raymond D. Rawson, at 9:15 p.m., on Monday, June 4, 2001, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada.  There was no Agenda.  There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman Rawson introduced Assembly Bill (A.B.) 405 to the committee.

 

ASSEMBLY BILL 405:  Expresses sense of Nevada Legislature regarding reading proficiency of Nevada’s school children. (BDR 34-652)

 

Chairman Rawson called for a motion.

 

            SENATOR AMODEI MOVED TO DO PASS A.B. 405.

 

            SENATOR WASHINGTON SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

            THE MOTION CARRIED.  (SENATOR TOWNSEND AND SENATOR             SCHNEIDER WERE ABSENT FOR THE VOTE.)
