The Senate Committee on Judiciarywas called to order by Acting Chairman Mike McGinness, at 12:20 p.m., on Friday, May 25, 2001, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

Acting Chairman McGinness opened the meeting on Assembly Bill (A.B.) 667.
ASSEMBLY BILL 667: Revives for limited time certain causes of action based on effects of silicone injected or implanted into body. (BDR 2-1559)
Senator Titus inquired whether or not the Senate Committee on Commerce and Labor would have time to hear A.B. 667. She conferred with Senator Randolph J. Townsend who indicated the Senate Committee on Commerce and Labor would hear A.B. 667 at a date and time convenient to the Senate Committee on Judiciary.
SENATOR WASHINGTON MOVED TO RE-REFER A.B. 667 TO THE SENATE COMMITTEE ON COMMERCE AND LABOR.
SENATOR CARE SECONDED THE MOTION.
THE MOTION CARRIED. (SENATOR JAMES AND SENATOR PORTER WERE ABSENT FOR THE VOTE.)
