The Senate Committee on Judiciarywas called to order by Chairman Mark A. James, at 2:10 p.m., on Friday, June 1, 2001, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman James opened the floor meeting on Senate Bill (S.B.) 33 and entertained a motion.
SENATE BILL 33: Revises various provisions governing probate. (BDR 12-853)
SENATOR WASHINGTON MOVED TO CONCUR WITH AMENDMENT NO. 742 TO S.B. 33.
SENATOR PORTER SECONDED THE MOTION.
THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

Senator James closed the floor meeting on S.B. 33 and opened the floor meeting on S.B. 49.
SENATE BILL 49: Adopts Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. (BDR 59-258)
Senator James entertained a motion on S.B. 49.
SENATOR CARE MOVED TO NOT CONCUR WITH AMENDMENT NO. 741 TO S.B. 49.
SENATOR WIENER SECONDED THE MOTION.
THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
