The Senate Committee on Legislative Affairs and Operationswas called to order by Chairman Jon C. Porter, at 2:45 p.m., on Saturday, May 26, 2001, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada.  There was no Agenda.  There was no Attendance Roster.

Senator Porter explained that the committee had a bill draft request (BDR) to be introduced.

 

BILL DRAFT REQUEST R-1549:  Directs Legislative Commission to conduct interim study of certain systems that offer health benefits provided by various governmental employers.  (Later introduced as Senate Concurrent Resolution 50.)

 

SENATOR JAMES MOVED TO INTRODUCE BDR R‑1549

 

            SENATOR WIENER SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

 

 

THE MOTION CARRIED.  (SENATORS RAGGIO AND RAWSON WERE ABSENT FOR THE VOTE.)
