The Senate Committee on Transportationwas called to order by Chairman William R. O'Donnell, at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 30, 2001, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada.  There was no Agenda.  There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman O’Donnell opened the floor meeting on Senate Bill (S.B.) 524.

 

SENATE BILL 524:  Authorizes electronic submission and storage of documents relating to vehicle registration. (BDR 43-1222)

 

SENATOR AMODEI MOVED TO RESCIND PREVIOUS ACTION TAKEN ON S.B. 524.

 

SENATOR CARLTON SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

Chairman O’Donnell opened the floor meeting on S.B. 246.

 

SENATE BILL 246:  Makes supplemental appropriation to Office of Attorney General for unanticipated shortfall caused by overestimation of revenues in budget. (BDR S-1252)

 

SENATOR AMODEI MOVED TO NOT RECEDE FROM AMENDMENT NO. 965 TO S.B. 246.

 

SENATOR CARLTON SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

Chairman O’Donnell said there would be a conference committee formed consisting of Senators O’Donnell, Carlton and Jacobsen.
