The Senate Committee on Transportationwas called to order by Chairman William R. O'Donnell, at 11:40 a.m., on Friday, March 23, 2001, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada.  There was no Agenda.  There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman O’Donnell opened the floor meeting to introduce a bill draft request (BDR).

 

BILL DRAFT REQUEST 43-1107:  Provides for reorganization of department of motor vehicles and public safety into two departments.  (Later introduced as Senate Bill 481.)

 

SENATOR WASHINGTON MOVED TO INTRODUCE BDR 43-1107.

 

SENATOR CARLTON SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

 

 

THE MOTION CARRIED.  (SENATOR JACOBSEN WAS ABSENT FOR THE VOTE.)
