Effective October 1, 2001. The amendatory provisions of this act expire by limitation on October 1, 2005, if on that date the department of motor vehicles and public safety has received fewer than 250 applications for the issuance of a license plate pursuant to subsections 1 to 6, inclusive, of section 1 of this act.
