AN ACT relating to county government; authorizing a board of county commissioners to provide by ordinance for payment of the travel expenses of members of an advisory board; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1    Section 1. NRS 244.1945 is hereby amended to read as follows:

1-2    244.1945  1.  The board of county commissioners of any county may

1-3  establish by ordinance advisory boards for any purpose relating to the

1-4  county about which the board desires study or advice.

1-5    2.  Members of such an advisory board are entitled to receive such

1-6  travel expenses as are authorized in the ordinance that established the

1-7  advisory board.

1-8    Sec. 2.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
