AN ACT making supplemental appropriations to the Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety for shortfalls in the Division of Parole and Probation and Central Services, Management Services and Field Services; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
1-1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state highway fund
1-2 to the Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety the sum of $60,851
1-3 for an unanticipated shortfall in the money budgeted for Management
1-4 Services. This appropriation is supplemental to that made by section 29 of
1-5 chapter 571, Statutes of Nevada 1999, at page 2985.
1-6 Sec. 2. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to the
1-7 Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety the sum of $2,493 for an
1-8 unanticipated stale payroll claim of the Division of Parole and Probation.
1-9 This appropriation is supplemental to that made by section 27 of chapter
1-10 571 of Statutes of Nevada 1999, at page 2984.
1-11 Sec. 3. There is hereby appropriated from the state highway fund to
1-12 the Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety the sum of
1-13 $1,805,420 for an unanticipated shortfall in the money budgeted for new
1-14 positions in Field Services. This appropriation is supplemental to that made
1-15 by section 29 of chapter 571 of Statutes of Nevada 1999, at page 2984.
1-16 Sec. 4. There is hereby appropriated from the state highway fund to
1-17 the Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety the sum of $230,472
1-18 for an unanticipated shortfall in the money budgeted for new positions in
2-1 Central Services. This appropriation is supplemental to that made by
2-2 section 29 of chapter 571 of Statutes of Nevada 1999, at page 2985.
2-3 Sec. 5. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
