AN ACT making appropriations to the State Department of Agriculture for the revolving account for agriculture working capital and for budgetary shortfalls regarding the State Predatory Animal and Rodent Committee and agricultural administration; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1    Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to

1-2  the State Department of Agriculture for deposit in the revolving account

1-3  for agriculture working capital created by NRS 561.335 the sum of $4,900.

1-4    Sec. 2.  There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to the

1-5  State Department of Agriculture the sum of $13,848 to be distributed as

1-6  follows:

1-7    1.  For a shortfall in budgeted terminal annual leave expenses of the

1-8  State Predatory Animal and Rodent Committee created by NRS 567.020,

1-9  the sum of $7,045.

1-10  2.  For a shortfall in the budget for Agriculture Administration, the sum

1-11  of $6,803 to pay certain retirement contributions that were due from the

1-12  department during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2000, but not paid during

1-13  that period.

1-14  This appropriation is supplemental to that made by section 24 of chapter

1-15  571, Statutes of Nevada 1999, at page 2983.

1-16  Sec. 3.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
