AN ACT relating to veterans; authorizing the Executive Director of the Office of Veterans’ Services to accept gifts and grants for the support of the World War II Memorial Campaign to establish the national memorial for World War II veterans; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1    Section 1. The Executive Director of the Office of Veterans’ Services

1-2  may accept gifts and grants for the support of the World War II Memorial

1-3  Campaign to establish the national memorial for World War II veterans.

1-4  The Executive Director of the Office of Veterans’ Services shall transmit

1-5  to the Campaign, on behalf of the State of Nevada, at appropriate intervals,

1-6  any gifts and grants received for this purpose.

1-7    Sec. 2.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.

 

1-8  H
