AN ACT making an appropriation to Washoe County School District for the support of the preschool program for non-English speaking children offered by The Children’s Cabinet at Incline Village, Inc.; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1    Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to

1-2  Washoe County School District for support of the preschool program for

1-3  non-English speaking children offered by The Children’s Cabinet at Incline

1-4  Village, Inc.:

1-5  For fiscal year 2001-2002..................... $55,000

1-6  For fiscal year 2002-2003..................... $55,000

1-7    Sec. 2.  The sums appropriated by section 1 of this act are available for

1-8  either fiscal year. Any balance of those sums must not be committed for

1-9  expenditure after June 30, 2003, and reverts to the state general fund as

1-10  soon as all payments of money committed have been made.

1-11    Sec. 3.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
