AN ACT making an appropriation to the State Public Works Board for the
construction of Hi-Tech Learning Centers in Fernley and Yerington; and
providing other matters properly relating thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
1-1 Section 1. 1. There
is hereby appropriated from the state general
1-2 fund to the State Public
Works Board the sum of $6,000,000 for the
1-3 construction of Hi-Tech
Learning Centers in Fernley at Fernley High
1-4 School and in Yerington at
Yerington High School.
1-5 2. The State Public Works
Board shall construct the Hi-Tech Learning
1-6 Centers in cooperation with
the University and Community College
1-7 System of Nevada.
1-8 Sec. 2. Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by section 1
1-9 of this act must not be
committed for expenditure after June 30, 2005, and
1-10 reverts to the state general
fund as soon as all payments of money
1-11 committed have been made.
1-12 Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
