Assembly Bill No. 508–Committee on Ways and Means

AN ACT making appropriations to the State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for new and replacement equipment for the Division of Water Resources and to the account for the channel clearance, maintenance, restoration, surveying and monumenting program; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

   Section 1. 1.  There is hereby appropriated from the state general

 fund to the State Department of Conservation and Natural resources the

 sum of $169,411 for new and replacement equipment for the Division of

 Water Resources.

   2.  Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by subsection 1

 must not be committed for expenditure after June 30, 2003, and reverts to

 the state general fund as soon as all payments of money committed have

 been made.

   Sec. 2.  There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to the

 account for the channel clearance, maintenance, restoration, surveying and

 monumenting program created by NRS 532.230 the sum of $100,000.

   Sec. 3.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
