AN ACT making an appropriation from the state highway fund to the Department
of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety for the creation and maintenance of a
branch office in Boulder City; and providing other matters properly relating
thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
1-1 Section 1. There is
hereby appropriated from the state highway fund
1-2 to the Department of Motor
Vehicles and Public Safety for the creation and
1-3 maintenance of a branch
office of the Department in Boulder City:
1-4 For the
fiscal year 2001-2002 $135,000
1-5 For the
fiscal year 2002-2003 $135,000
1-6 Sec. 2. Any balance of the sums appropriated by section 1 of this act
1-7 remaining at the end of the
respective fiscal years must not be committed
1-8 for expenditure after June
30 and reverts to the state highway fund as soon
1-9 as all payments of money
committed have been made.
1-10 Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
