AN ACT making an appropriation to the Buildings and Grounds Division of the Department of Administration for certain expenses related to the Grant Sawyer State Office Building; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1    Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to

1-2  the Buildings and Grounds Division of the Department of Administration

1-3  the sum of $220,400 for:

1-4    1.  Minor remodeling of the Grant Sawyer State Office Building; and

1-5    2.  Moving expenses of various agencies to and from the Grant Sawyer

1-6  State Office Building.

1-7    Sec. 2.  Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by section 1

1-8  of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30, 2003, and

1-9  reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of money

1-10  committed have been made.

1-11    Sec. 3.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
