AN ACT relating to state financial administration; exempting certain professional and occupational boards from the state budget act and the provisions governing the administration of state funding; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1    Section 1. Chapter 353 of NRS is hereby amended by adding thereto a

1-2  new section to read as follows:

1-3    The provisions of chapter 353 of NRS do not apply to boards created

1-4  pursuant to chapters 623 to 625A, inclusive, 628, 630 to 640A, inclusive,

1-5  641 to 644, inclusive, 654 and 656 of NRS and the officers and employees

1-6  thereof.

1-7    Sec. 2.  This act becomes effective on July 1, 2001.
