AN ACT relating to the department of motor vehicles and public safety; extending the authorized period of expenditure of money appropriated to the department of motor vehicles and public safety for the purchase of modular furniture for the remodeled office in Carson City; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1    Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 510, Statutes of Nevada 1999, at page

1-2  2613, is hereby amended to read as follows:

1-3     Sec. 2.  Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by

1-4  section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after [June

1-5  30,] December 31, 2001, and reverts to the state highway fund as soon

1-6  as all payments of money committed have been made.

1-7    Sec. 2.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
