AN ACT making an appropriation to the Clark County School District for the
purchase of a web-based educational system for the instruction of pupils and
the professional development of educators; and providing other matters properly
relating thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
1-1 Section 1. There is
hereby appropriated from the state general fund to
1-2 the Clark County School
District the sum of $1,500,000 for the purchase of
1-3 a web-based educational
system that delivers instruction to pupils and
1-4 information related to the professional
development of educators, for
1-5 installment in 10 schools in
the Clark County School District.
1-6 Sec. 2. Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by section 1
1-7 of this act must not be
committed for expenditure after June 30, 2003, and
1-8 reverts to the state general
fund as soon as all payments of money
1-9 committed have been made.
1-10 Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and
approval.
