     Amend section 1, page 1, line 3, by deleting:

“removed by the governor,”.

     Amend section 1, page 1, by deleting lines 10 through 13 and inserting:

“person must be an officer of the Nevada National Guard, federally recognized in the grade of lieutenant colonel or higher, and must have completed at least 6 years’ service in the Nevada National Guard as a federally recognized”.

     Amend section 1, page 1, line 14, by deleting “officer, 3” and inserting:

“officer . [, 3”.

     Amend the bill as a whole be deleting sec. 2 and renumbering sec. 3 as sec. 2.

     Amend the title of the bill to read as follows:

“AN ACT relating to state military; changing the qualifications for appointment as adjutant general; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.”.
