     Amend section 1, page 1, line 8, by deleting:

“meeting, conference, seminar or gathering” and inserting “meeting”.

     Amend section 1, page 1, by deleting line 13 and inserting:

     “3.  Any private employer who has more than 50 employees or any public employer who employs a person who is a”.

     Amend section 1, page 2, line 8, after “member;” by inserting “or”.

     Amend section 1, page 2, by deleting lines 11 through 16 and inserting “legislator.”.

     Amend the title of the bill, by deleting the third through fifth lines and inserting:

“certain meetings during the legislative interim; requiring public and certain private employers to grant leave for employees who are legislators to attend certain meetings during the”.
