     Amend sec. 7, page 2, line 23, after “purpose.” by inserting:

“Not more than $200,000 of revenue from taxes on the gross receipts from the rental of transient lodging may be made available for that purpose in any biennium.”.

     Amend sec. 7, page 2, line 25, by deleting “The” and inserting:

“Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, the”.

     Amend sec. 7, page 2, line 28, after “fund.” by inserting:

“The state controller shall not transfer any revenue from taxes on the gross receipts from the rental of transient lodging from the fund for the promotion of tourism to the state general fund unless the transfer is approved by the interim finance committee.”.
