AN ACT making an appropriation to the ALS Association Nevada Chapter for the
provision of services to patients with ALS and to help finance the finding of a
cure for ALS; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
1-1 Section
1. There is hereby appropriated
from the state general fund to
1-2 the ALS Association Nevada Chapter, the sum of
$100,000 for the
1-3 provision of services to patients living in Nevada
suffering from ALS
1-4 (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, commonly referred to
as Lou Gehrig’s
1-5 Disease) and to help finance the finding of a cure
for ALS.
1-6 Sec. 2. This
act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
