AN ACT making an appropriation to the Department of Education for vocational student organizations; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

1-1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to

1-2 the Department of Education for vocational student organizations:

1-3 For the fiscal year 2001-2002.. $100,000

1-4 For the fiscal year 2002-2003.. $100,000

1-5 Sec. 2. All expenditures of the money appropriated by section 1 of

1-6 this act must be recorded and accounted for in the accounts of the State of

1-7 Nevada or a school district to which the money has been granted.

1-8 Sec. 3. Any balance of the sums appropriated by section 1 of this act

1-9 remaining at the end of the respective fiscal years must not be committed

1-10 for expenditure after June 30 of the respective fiscal years and reverts to

1-11 the state general fund as soon as all payments of money committed have

1-12 been made.

1-13 Sec. 4. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
