AN ACT relating to transportation; repealing a duplicative provision that prohibits an unlicensed driver from operating a vehicle for transporting children; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1    Section 1.  NRS 392.390 is hereby repealed.

1-2    Sec. 2.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.

 

 

1-3  TEXT OF REPEALED SECTION

 

 

1-4    392.390  Unlawful employment of unlicensed driver; penalty.  The

1-5  employment of any unlicensed person to drive a vehicle when it is

1-6  transporting pupils shall be unlawful. Any person violating the provisions

1-7  of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
