AN ACT making an appropriation to the Aging Services Division of the Department of Human Resources for support of a program to identify and review the use of services available for Nevada’s seniors; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
1-1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to
1-2 the Aging Services Division of the Department of Human Resources the
1-3 sum of $75,000 for support of a program that will identify the services
1-4 available for Nevada’s seniors and determine how many seniors have made
1-5 use of those services.
1-6 Sec. 2. Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by section 1
1-7 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30, 2003, and
1-8 reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of money
1-9 committed have been made.
1-10 Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
