AN ACT making a supplemental appropriation to the State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for certain shortfalls in the budget; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1    Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to

1-2  the State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources the sum of

1-3  $28,489 to be disbursed as follows:

1-4    1.  For an unanticipated shortfall in the money budgeted for

1-5  retirement and other personnel expenses in the Director’s office   $21,689

1-6    2.  For an unanticipated shortfall in money budgeted for
the Division of Water Resources for expenses related to the

1-7  U.S.G.S. Stream Gauging Stations and for maintenance of
the South Fork Dam.............. $6,800

1-8  This appropriation is supplemental to that made by section 25 of chapter

1-9  571, Statutes of Nevada 1999, at page 2983.

1-10    Sec. 2.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
