AN ACT making an appropriation to the Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety to create a centralized database for dental records within the Central Repository for Nevada Records of Criminal History; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1    Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to

1-2  the Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety the sum of $500,000

1-3  for software and hardware to create a centralized database for dental

1-4  records within the Central Repository for Nevada Records of Criminal

1-5  History.

1-6    Sec. 2.  Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by section 1

1-7  of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30, 2003, and

1-8  reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of money

1-9  committed have been made.

1-10    Sec. 3.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
