AN ACT making an appropriation to the Department of Human Resources for new and replacement equipment, operating expenses, and new and replacement computer hardware and software for the Rural Regional Center of the Division of Mental Health and Developmental Services; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

    Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund

 to the Department of Human Resources the sum of $33,391 for new and

 replacement equipment, operating expenses and new and replacement

 computer hardware and software for the Rural Regional Center of the

 Division of Mental Health and Developmental Services to be distributed

 as follows:

    1.  For new and replacement equipment..... $24,503

    2.  For operating expenses for fiscal year 2001-2002...   $4,444

    3.  For operating expenses for fiscal year 2002-2003...   $4,444

   Sec. 2.  1.  Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by

 subsection 1 of section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure

 after June 30, 2003, and reverts to the state general fund as soon as all

 payments of money committed have been made.

   2.  Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by subsection 2 of

 section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30,

 2002, and reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of

 money committed have been made.

   3.  Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by subsection 3 of

 section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30,

 2003, and reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of

 money committed have been made.

   Sec. 3.  1.  This section and subsection 1 of section 1 of this act

 become effective upon passage and approval.

   2.  Subsection 2 of section 1 of this act becomes effective on July 1,

 2001.

   3.  Subsection 3 of section 1 of this act becomes effective on July 1,

 2002.
