Senate Bill No. 438–Committee on Finance

AN ACT making an appropriation to the Louis W. McHardy National College of Juvenile and Family Justice to assist in securing public and private grants and other funding for support during the 2001-2003 biennium; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

   Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to

 the Louis W. McHardy National College of Juvenile and Family Justice

 the sum of $250,000 to assist in securing public and private grants and

 other funding for support during the 2001-2003 biennium.

   Sec. 2.  Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by section 1

 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30, 2003, and

 reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of money

 committed have been made.

   Sec. 3.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
