AN ACT making an appropriation to the Department of Human Resources for new and replacement equipment and computer hardware and software at the Rural Clinics; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1  Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to

1-2  the Department of Human Resources the sum of $163,524 for new and

1-3  replacement equipment and computer hardware and software at the Rural

1-4  Clinics to be distributed as follows:

1-5  1.  For equipment    $154,644

1-6  2.  For operating expenses for fiscal year 2001-2002    $4,440

1-7  3.  For operating expenses for fiscal year 2002-2003    $4,440

1-8    Sec. 2.  1.  Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by

1-9  subsection 1 of section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure

1-10  after June 30, 2003, and reverts to the state general fund as soon as all

1-11  payments of money committed have been made.

1-12    2.  Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by subsection 2 of

1-13  section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30,

1-14  2002, and reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of

1-15  money committed have been made.

1-16    3.  Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by subsection 3 of

1-17  section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30,

1-18  2003, and reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of

1-19  money committed have been made.


2-1    Sec. 3.  1.  This section and subsection 1 of section 1 of this act

2-2  become effective upon passage and approval.

2-3    2.  Subsection 2 of section 1 of this act becomes effective on July 1,

2-4  2001.

2-5    3.  Subsection 3 of section 1 of this act becomes effective on July 1,

2-6  2002.
