AN ACT making an appropriation to the Peace Officers’ Standards and Training Commission for an analysis of job tasks and a study of physical fitness validation for peace officers; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
1-1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Peace Officers’
1-2 Standards and Training Commission the sum of $200,000 for an analysis of
1-3 job tasks and a study of physical fitness validation for peace officers.
1-4 Sec. 2. Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by section 1
1-5 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30, 2003, and
1-6 reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of money
1-7 committed have been made.
1-8 Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
