AN ACT making an appropriation to the Department of Human Resources for marketing efforts and enhancement of subsidies for the provision of prescription drugs and pharmaceutical services to senior citizens; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
1-1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund to
1-2 the Department of Human Resources the sum of $1,000,000 for marketing
1-3 efforts and enhancement of subsidies for the provision of prescription
1-4 drugs and pharmaceutical services to senior citizens.
1-5 Sec. 2. Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by section 1
1-6 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30, 2003, and
1-7 reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of money
1-8 committed have been made.
1-9 Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
