AN ACT relating to state financial administration; making an appropriation to the Department of Museums, Library and Arts for a conservation laboratory; extending the reversion date for a prior appropriation made to the Department; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
1-1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Department of
1-2 Museums, Library and Arts the sum of $40,000 for a conservation
1-3 laboratory.
1-4 Sec. 2. Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by section 1
1-5 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30, 2003, and
1-6 reverts to the state general fund as soon as all payments of money
1-7 committed have been made.
1-8 Sec. 3. Section 2 of chapter 613, Statutes of Nevada 1999, at page
1-9 3342, is hereby amended to read as follows;
1-10 Sec. 2. Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by
1-11 section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after
1-12 [June 30, 2001,] December 31, 2001, and reverts to the state general
1-13 fund as soon as all payments of money committed have been made.
1-14 Sec. 4. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
