AN ACT making appropriations to the contingency fund to restore and increase the balance in the fund; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1    Section 1. 1.  There is hereby appropriated from the state general

1-2  fund to the contingency fund, created by NRS 353.266, the sum of

1-3  $9,000,000 to restore and increase the balance in the fund to $9,000,000.

1-4    2.  There is hereby appropriated from the state highway fund to the

1-5  contingency fund, created by NRS 353.266, the sum of $2,000,000. The

1-6  money appropriated in this subsection must be accounted for separately

1-7  and may only be used for expenditures that may be properly made from the

1-8  state highway fund.

1-9    Sec. 2.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
