Senate RESOLUTION—Providing allowances to the leadership and other members of
the Senate for periodicals, stamps, stationery and communications.
1-1 Resolved by the Senate of the State of Nevada,
That the sum to
1-2 be allowed, as provided by
law, for each member of the Senate for
1-3 periodicals, stamps and
stationery is $60 and for the use of telephones is
1-4 $2,800, and the sum to be
allowed, as provided by law, for the President
1-5 and President Pro Tempore of
the Senate, the Majority and Minority
1-6 Leaders of the Senate, and
the chairman of each standing committee of the
1-7 Senate for postage,
telephone tolls and other charges for communications is
1-8 $900; and be it further
1-9 Resolved, That these
amounts be certified by the President and the
1-10 Secretary to the State
Controller, who is authorized to draw his warrants
1-11 therefor on the legislative
fund, and the State Treasurer is thereafter
1-12 authorized to pay these
warrants.
