AN ACT making an appropriation to Lander County for the design and construction of the Battle Mountain Industrial Park and for support of the Battle Mountain Flood Control Project; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1  Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State General

1-2  Fund to Lander County the sum of $300,000 to be distributed as

1-3  follows:

1-4  1.  For the design and construction of the Battle Mountain

1-5  Industrial Park, the sum of $100,000; and

1-6  2.  For support of the Battle Mountain Flood Control Project in

1-7  its effort to prevent property damage and pollution of the Humboldt

1-8  River, the sum of $200,000.

1-9  Sec. 2.  Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by

1-10  section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after

1-11  completion of the projects and reverts to the State General Fund as

1-12  soon as all payments of money committed have been made.

2-1  Sec. 3.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
