AN ACT making an appropriation from the State Highway Fund to the Department of Motor Vehicles for the creation and maintenance of a branch office in Wendover; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1  Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State

1-2  Highway Fund to the Department of Motor Vehicles for the creation

1-3  and maintenance of a branch office of the Department in Wendover:

1-4       For the fiscal year 2003-2004...... $135,000

1-5       For the fiscal year 2004-2005...... $135,000

1-6  Sec. 2.  Any balance of the sums appropriated by section 1 of

1-7  this act remaining at the end of the respective fiscal years must not

1-8  be committed for expenditure after June 30 and reverts to the State

1-9  Highway Fund as soon as all payments of money committed have

1-10  been made.

1-11      Sec. 3.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
